Well, tomorrow is our final day at Wieden + Kennedy after nearly three months and what a blast it has been. We’ve had the chance to work with some of the most truly creative and inspiring people. We’ve worked on all sorts of projects, from big clients such as Nike & Fairtrade to the all consuming pitch work. They really want you to get stuck in and produce good ideas.
The nice thing about W+K is that everyone is approachable and will always give you the time of day – the top dogs, right down to our little chin-wags with the cleaners in the morning, There’s always something going on, mini exhibits, tea & cake, numerous celebrations and finding out the next big thing out of WK... we’ll certainly miss it.
For now though, we'll take some time out to re-collect, get the book up to scratch and get back on the rounds. We have learnt so much in our time at WK, we'll take what we've learnt and put it into practice. Some new work for the 'folio and a whole host of people we need to get in touch with. We're still awaiting some news on the COI pitch (expected in the next week) and an update on our project for the Nike account. There's still plenty going on and a possibility of some freelance work, who knows what lies around the corner...
Some of the Fairtrade work has finally broken, bit of a new handcrafted look and feel to the brand. It's only the beginning, but jump here to WK news for some work in progress stuff or check out some of the interactive bits over at fairtrade.org.uk
As for the rest of the stuff we'll get it up shortly.

cheap freelance afterall - well how about that. I'm sure you two will bang on about experience and be all chirpy, but i bet your gutted.
We have a fortuneteller in our midst. Of course we're gutted. It would be wrong for us to say anything else... but it would be 'boring' for us to write about that.
What would you do given our situation... If you were offered the chance to work at W+K would you take it?
Hmmm... I thought so. So now that's out of the way, yes, we'd have loved to secure a job but we didn't. Are you proposing we sulk about it? Or suck it up and go after something else?
good t-shirt philip x
Best of luck lads. Was WK best so far?
Actually no i wouldn't take it. i would firstly make sure that it i performed well enough that there was a chance of a job at the end of it before accepting and take it as a job trial instead - you can't do placements forever.

Nice one!
20:22 agreed.
wonder if anon 14:17 is as big as his anon comments and tell us who they are and where they work? if they do work?
i actually work at w&k
Did you get that job by turning down every agency with the audacity to only offer you a placement?
Because turning down a placement, in a recession, at one of the most respected creative shops in London because the bastards don't call it a 'job trial', is probably the best way of getting hired I have ever heard.
Tell us more of your wisdom, like the time you got a raise by punching the CD in the face.

anon 13:49 one minute they are the most creative place, the next they are bastards?
Read it again, with a brain.
