Department Of Common Sense...

A new batch of postcards & stickers arrived courtesy of moo.com. I'll share in more depth later, but here's one on the back of my motorcycle helmet...

If you see me passing, try to keep up.

Vintage Lights...

I am absolutely in love with vintage light bulbs... a few extra pennies, but well worth it. Here's a shot of mine firing up. Staring directly at a lightbulb is bad right?

Making Tables...

Here's a coffee table (read display piece) I made back in October. It took roughly 2/3 days and was made out of old wooden palettes salvaged from Brixton market, with a little help from the girlfriend (she held stuff). We stained it, ordered some old hospital wheels, bolts, and drilled various holes in stuff. Then I ordered some custom glass from a local glazers in November for the top and underneath, not too bad considering most of it was guess work...

And finally, found a neat little way to slot in my Aaron Draplin poster to sit under the glass earlier this month. Mission complete. Pay me some monies and I'll make you one.

Nick Names & Back to Blogging...

WELL
BLOW
ME.

I've finally decided to stick up a post. Blogging seems like something I used to do fairly frequently but now most of my meandering dribble goes up on Twitter & Facebook?! Social Wha!?! Did I get bored with it, perhaps? Did I run out of things to talk about? Unlikely. Why then? Who know, who cares...

...I'm now wondering how to fast forward the best part of a year, I've left Inferno, have been freelancing since June at a number of places, almost solidly, other than a brief trip to Istanbul & Xmas festivities.

I spent 5 months at a new start up The Champion Agency (well it was new last May), so 'new-ish' now. Profero for a couple of months with some old friends, B-Reel NY & London on some product innovations which should be out soonish, and since early Jan - Ogilvy One.

I've launched a greetings cards range with another Illustrator/ Art Director friend of mine Woody Woods, which you can kindly purchase through the link here. Lets face it there's worse things you could spend your money on. The series is called Nick Names. People's names you've mentioned and now you can finally meet them, albeit graphically.

...And also working on beefing up Single Creatives and hosting the single mingle next week (now booked up) & not forgetting the wonderful YCC crew. Lots of epic stuff coming through the pipeline on that, so keep an eye on the site.

[Inferno Intros - 001]

Here's a little something I've been working on with a couple of pro-active peeps at Inferno. Here's the official ...post.

It's a little labour of love and fun side project, and between us we created the evolving identity, intros, filmed, edited, produced and sourced the acts, all in less than a week. First of many hopefully, certainly a space to watch...

Happy World Book Day

I LOVE BOOKS.
A little thought I had - and since it's World Book Day it seemed like a good time...

and if you're wondering where the inspiration came from... it was a journey to work last week.
