Tugging on the Heartstrings...

I received this lovely little note through the post from Creative Review a few days ago.
I must say, if I wasn't already considering renewing my subscription, then this would have gone a long way to convincing me to do it. Nice to see some quality writing for a change, instead of receiving a letter with big bold letters that led me to believe they were debt collectors or something.

Well done Creative Review.

MASHUP // Dead Island VS Road Safety...

So, like you, I saw the Epic Dead Island trailer...
I couldn't help but think I'd seen something similar before.
So I mashed them together.
...with a bit of sound-scaping.
It works quite well.
Even if it is a little dark natured.
If you like it, send it around.

Exhibition at The CAMP...

There's an Exhibition at The CAMP
(The City Arts & Music Project).

"East of my Youth, West of my Future".

It's by my friend Dan Medhurst.
He's a Photographer.
A good one.

If you're an Art Director or Art Buyer,
you should give him some work.

If you're not. You should go check it out.

It's on City Road.
2 mins from Old Street Tube.

I won't put any more photos up, or I'll ruin the exhibition.

Iamakey...

Oh yes.
My shiny new HD arrived today.
Not a TV, a Hard Drive.
8GB on a LaCie Key.
Not something you'd get excited by, huh?

I am.

Funny Junk Part III...

A little while before Christmas I made a couple of observations on the absurd Junk Mail I have been receiving... the original post can be found here and the second one here... Well, this is the third installment.

I think I may have had this one before, but to be honest, it must be the new season.

High Level Spam Business proposal, great, just what I need, a spam email to tell me about a spam business proposal. But wait, we're talking HIGH LEVEL spam, with six stars! Hong Woohoo!

I like to think of a Stallion's Rod as something from medieval times, like a relic, something scared, buried beneath the dirt and can only be found by way of a secret riddle and treasure map. But I fear they are talking about a horse's penis.

I am yet to meet Sheryna, but I am told she will work for free, Day & Night.. I wonder if she'd start by cleaning that weird mouldy thing forming on my next door neighbour's wall.

This isn't strictly in keeping with the idea but I thought this was worth pointing out, once you've deleted all your messages in hotmail you get this nice little message. HOORAY!
